Houpu BrightSpot International Energy Limited(Houpu BrightSpot) , is a private oil and gas company registerred in Hong Kong and the controlling shareholder is Beijing Xingkai Investment Ltd. Houpu Brighspot mainly invests in: Upstream oil and gas exploration, development and production, and our focus area is North America ,South East Asia, Central Asia and China; Natural gas utilization: including gas processing facilities such as Mini LNG, CNG, gas transportation such as Isotank, small size LNG vessel, LNG transport Tanker, gas power generation etc. Our focus area is China and South East Asia.

Canadian Upstream Projects
Houpu BrightSpot has set up its 100% subsidiary in Calgary, Alberta of Canada.
Houpu Brightspot International(Canada) Ltd. for investment and operation of Canadian oil and gas projects.
The business in Canada focuses applying latest drilling and completion technology for mature field step out, smart work over of wells for stimulation,reprocessing and interpretation of seismic to identify the lowrisk drilling and work over targets.

Houpu BrightSpot plans to drill 20 wells in Alberta within 2 years and targeting 3000 BOEPD production.
China Domestic Oil & Gas Upstream Project
Yongfeng was awarded to Xingkai investment，the holding company of Houpu BrightSpot, with operatorship in 2021 and is an oil and gas exploration block. Several oil and gas prospects are already identified with estimated OOIP of 370 million Barrels and OGIP of 1TCF.
PNG Upstream West Energy Project
In the last 2 years, Houpu BrightSpot has actively worked together with partners for natural gas utilization project in Pupua New Guinea and is supported by PNG government.

Prime Minister of Pupua New Guinea, Hon. James Marape, met Managing Director of Houpu BrightSpot, Mr. Wang Jiwen, in Port Moresby, on March 23, 2025, and expressing support for Houpu BrighSpot for investment in energy section in PNG.
September 15，2025
The Canadian technical team conducted an onsite inspection and technical evaluation of the operational conditions of two newly drilled production wells in Block S21. Through data collection and equipment inspection, a comprehensive diagnosis was performed on the well conditions, productivity, and potential risks to optimize the production strategy.
These two oil wells commenced drilling on August 11 and were completed on August 19.

Dr. Zhu, Executive Director of Houpu BrightSpot, delivered a speech titled Unlocking and Developing Papua New Guinea's Domestic Natural Gas Market: Opportunities and Recommendations at the 2025 Papua New Guinea National Petroleum and Energy Conference.
December 12, 2025
Dr. Zhu, Executive Director of Houpu BrightSpot, led a team to visit H.E. Amb. Dr. Thaddes Kambanei, Ambassador of Papua New Guinea to China, and reported on the company's current oil and gas projects in PNG. The Ambassador expressed appreciation for Hopu BrightSpot's efforts in PNG, acknowledged the company's contributions to economic exchanges between the two countries, and pledged full support for the projects.
